Complaint against Country Vacations, Division of Country Club

I feel betrayed by Country vacations, I could see many others are betrayed by the same earlier. I got a call from a lady called Pavithra(8553295386) that I have got few gifts which I had to collect with my wife at around 3:30 afternoon. I was asked to come to their office, 683/a 2nd Floor, above Talwakar Fitness gym, 100 feet road, JP Nagar, 2nd phase, Bangalore - 78 before 8 PM IST. Once we reached there at 6:49 PM IST, had to give my details in the reception and we were asked to wait for some time. We were told that gifts will be handed over after a presentation of around 45 minutes. We were first briefed by Hemanth, that his subordinate Girish will go through the details regarding the gifts. Once Girish told about the gifts, Hemanth came and told us about a plan where we can be a member for Country club for free once we enroll for a vacation plan with Country vacations. Girish again told in details of what all will be given as part of vacation once we enroll. Below are list of items which were told by him: 1) One week vacation plan with free accommodation either in India or away based on availability for upto 12 people along with us or which can be gifted to others as token of love. Free pick-up and drop facilities to Hotel/resort. Cabs will be arranged for nominal prices if required for sight seeing. Dinners at 20% discounted rates. 2) Can avail party halls upto 5 different occasions an year in any Country club resort in an year. 3) Avail all other benefits in the club, like visiting the resort whenever possible and attending 8 different events conducted in a year, availing summer camps for kids for free. Spa of Rs. 100 to Rs. 000, only for a service tax of Rs. 350. 4) Rs. 6000 to be paid out in 12 EMI option with 0% interest with HDFC bank. I had to pay Rs. 100, which they said will round out to 6000 at the end of 12 months. We were asked to sign the agreement copy without giving us time to check and when asked questions regarding few things, we were told that it would be updated once we become members. Once after the amount was paid out, I got a call from Customer care telling about the details about the membership, which was totally different from what the sales team had told. Later, I checked with the sales team(Girish/Hemanth), which they confirmed otherwise. When the customer care called back, they again were sticking to same point. Later I got the message with my Membership ID. I am told that, I would get the card within 2 days of time. I got suspicious and was dumb founded to see that many like me have been fooled, as the agreement which we have signed says amount is not refundable. I feel betrayed and seek justice to claim the amount which I have paid out to Country Vacations. Please help. Thanks and Regards, Mitun Gundumane
